Meet Dr. Tony.

Tony O'Sullivan didn't set out to reinvent how pets see the vet — but once the idea took hold, he couldn't let it go. After qualifying as a veterinary surgeon, Tony quickly realised that the traditional clinic setup wasn't working for everyone.

He saw the stress first-hand: anxious dogs trembling in waiting rooms, cats howling in carriers, and owners feeling guilty for putting their pets through the ordeal. He knew there had to be a better way.

That conviction carried him around the world — a year working in Stornoway in the Scottish Hebrides, then rural Victoria in Australia doing mixed animal and wildlife work. It was there, loading up a Jeep with a veterinary nurse, that a passing comment changed everything. She mentioned that the old-school vets who worked out of their trucks seemed happier, and so did their patients.

The idea sat with Tony for five years as he worked across the UK. In the spring of 2019, he finally said enough. He printed 3,000 business cards, trudged around London handing them to dog groomers and pet shops, and launched Tony's Mobile Vets.
